Harvey's Brewery is renowned throughout the South East of England for its wonderful range of traditional cask ales. Harvey's use the finest raw materials combining them with unique ‘local’ conditions brewed within a traditional brew-house. The brewery itself has been a landmark in Lewes, the county town of East Sussex, for over 200 years.

Harvey's Brewery
Harvey’s Brewery was named UK Brewer of the Year 2018 at the International Beer Challenge Awards in London. Their tally included three Gold and three Silver awards. It was the second year in a row that the brewery has received this accolade. From 'UK Brewer of the Year' 2018 to numerous World Beer accolades, Harvey's team have been producing award-winning beers since 1790.
Additionally, Harvey’s were named ‘Joint Supreme Champions’ in the Design & Packaging section of the competition for their Craft Can Range, which featured designs from local artist Susan Lynch. The brewery also received the New Product Trophy in the Design and Packaging Section for their ‘Tin Lizzie’, using a design by local artist Malcolm Trollope-Davis.
These recent design awards arrive in the wake of other accolades the brewery have received for their re-brand strategy undertaken in 2016 with local artists and Brand Design Consultants WPA Pinfold.
Harvey’s have accepted seven awards for their new look branding, craft can range designs, and specific design for Tin Lizzie, an updated punk-style illustration for the canned version of their popular barleywine ‘Elizabethan Ale’. These awards have been bestowed from authorities from the beer, design and branding industries including IBC, Graphis Design, and Transform magazine.
