Shaping Future Innovation in East Sussex

Innovate UK, the UK’s national innovation agency dedicated to helping businesses access support through funding competitions and knowledge transfer partnerships, is working with Locate East Sussex to help companies create a better future post-pandemic, alongside local authorities, universities and other enterprises, by unlocking ideas and making positive changes in business practice.

Innovate East, a showcase event, was held in early March 2021 and is now available on-line at ADDRESS. The event aimed to inspire companies to uncover new ideas and techniques to tackle future challenges. Innovate East allowed businesses to learn from and engage with a wider knowledge base and highlighted the support that is available to help them succeed.

Covering such topics as sustainable growth, green investment and the post-pandemic future with a host of different speakers, Innovate UK is actively helping companies that are seeking to innovate, build partnerships and create a better economy in East Sussex.

Innovation has allowed for new technology and ways of thinking, with many businesses making an impact to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, solutions to the climate crisis as well as making their production process more efficient and effective.

Working with universities, supporting agencies and across the South East Local Enterprise Partnership, businesses will be able to accelerate their recovery, expansion, and growth.
