Let’s Do Business Group awarded contract to support Newhaven Enterprise Zone with delivery of Newhaven Sites and Empty Property Fund.
Let’s Do Business Group are thrilled to announce it is working with Newhaven Enterprise Zone to deliver £150,000 worth of grant funding to businesses in Newhaven to redevelop unused land and commercial buildings, aiding businesses to unlock space for growth.
The Newhaven Sites and Empty Property Fund is a one off capital fund designed to support the delivery of new sites and empty commercial floorspace that allows new and existing businesses to scale up and invest for the benefit of the town. The primary purpose is to increase and improve business accommodation and to help create new employment opportunities in the town.
The programme, which provides grants of up to £25,000 can be used to finance feasibility studies, masterplans, site investigations, pre-planning and business case development to support the case for commercial sites and premises that have remained undeveloped for over 12 months. In addition, the fund can be used for commercial properties that have been empty for at least 12 months and require essential repairs and improvements.
