Hotel and restaurant lined up for Bexhill Enterprise Park
Marston's, the UK's leading independent and pub retailing business, has announced it is to develop a pub/restaurant and 43-bedroom lodge hotel at Bexhill Enterprise Park, tentatively called Smuggler's Lantern.
Covering nearly four acres, Bexhill Enterprise Park will front onto the Combe Valley Way near the central roundabout and the near-completed High Weald House offices and Park Holidays UK's offices Glovers House.
Marston's is aiming to create around 58 jobs once established, looking to seek 'high-quality design and utilise local materials, where appropriate'.

Marston’s has received conditional planning permission from Rother District Council to develop:
- a part single-storey/part two-storey, 180-cover restaurant/pub plus staff accommodation
- a two-storey, 43-bedroom lodge
- surface parking for 104 cars and 12 cycles
- landscaping and ancillary works
This new development aims to cater to the workers of the business park as well as local residents, local business trade and visitors to the area.
As of publication, there are an additional five sites available for development on Bexhill Enterprise Park South, and further sites to the north of Combe Valley Way recently opened up by the North Bexhill Access Road (Haven Brook Avenue).
